Interchangable Technology
INSTRUCTION FOR THE DISTRICT/SEQUEL SLIDER To remove a lens: Hold the sunglass, facing you frame in the center between the lenses. by the nose bridge. Place your finger in the middle of the lens. Push the lens firmly and slowly away in a sideways motion away from the center of the sunglass.
To insert a lens: Place the inner edge of the lens on the frame and gently slide into the lens groove util it reaches the end.
INSTRUCTION FOR THE EMPIRE SLIDER To remove a lens: With the sunglass facing toward you, hold the frame by the nose bridge. Grasp the lens between your palm and your index and middle finger. Slide the lens firmly and slowly in an upward motion, rotating it from the inside outward.
To insert a lens: Reverse the sequence. Place the inner ridge of the lens in the corresponding frame slot and slowly press down on the top edge of the lens until it slides firmly into place.
INSTRUCTION FOR ALL SLIDERS (except EMPIRE and DISTRICT/SEQUEL) To remove a lens: With the sunglass facing toward you, hold the frame by the nose bridge. Grasp the lens between your palm and your index and middle finger. Slide the lens firmly and slowly in an upward motion, rotating it from the inside outward.
To insert a lens: Reverse the sequence. Place the outer ridge of the lens in the corresponding frame slot and slowly press down on the top edge of the lens until it slides firmly into place.
INSTRUCTION FOR THE FRONTLINE, FRONTLINE MAX, THEORY, FACTOR, FACTOR MAX, AXIS To remove a lens: With the sunglass facing toward you, hold the frame in the center between the lenses. Pull the lens firmly and slowly in a downward motion away from the center of the sunglass.
To insert a lens: Place the outer edge of the lens in the lens grove and gently slide it into the frame until it locks in place above the nose.
PLEASE NOTE: Changing lenses will become easier after the first few times.
UV Protection:
Protection from the Sun Linked to eye diseases, cataracts, and temporary conditions such as "snowblindness," Ultraviolet Radiation (UVA/B/C) is magnified by snow-covered surfaces. All Smith lens tints protect your eyes from 100% of these harmful forms of solar radiation.
Visible Light Transmission (VLT) The percentage of available light allowed to reach the eye. Different tints offer specific VLT to enhance vision in various light conditions.
